Douglas ranked 26th healthiest county in Georgia – Douglas County Sentinel: News

Douglas County is slightly healthier this year than it was last year, new rankings released recently show.

Douglas is ranked as the 26th healthiest of Georgia’s 159 counties, up from 27th last year and 36th in 2012.

The annual County Health Rankings and Roadmaps, published by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, rank counties against each other and against national benchmarks on various health factors.
