GaPundit.com is the most-read source for Georgia politics from a right-of-center or Republican perspective. We come from a background of more than twenty years in Georgia Republican politics, as an activist, party member, political consultant and campaign professional.

GaPundit’s morning news is compiled most weekdays by Todd Rehm, Editor of GaPundit.com and President of Sand Mountain Communications, LLC, the parent company of this website. Our primary readership comes from the email version of the morning news, which currently reaches about 65,000 subscribers.

Todd Rehm is a Republican political consultant and pollster based in Atlanta and editor of GaPundit.com, the most-read political newsletter in Georgia, which focuses on Republican politics, state and local government, and elections. He is a graduate of Emory University and veteran of 20 years of political campaigns,

Todd Rehm is an Atlanta-based pollster and political consultant specializing in Georgia state elections. In 2012, he managed the successful campaign of Kathy Schrader for Gwinnett County Superior Court, in which his client won the runoff with a 70-30 margin, despite being outspent 2:1. He currently is the lead consultant for Chuck Eaton’s campaign for reelection to the Georgia Public Service Commission; Eaton garnered nearly 60% of the vote in the Republican Primary.

In 2010, he was a consultant to the top-targeted challenger in the State House of Representatives, Sam Teasley, who won the General Election against an incumbent Democrat. He was the lead consultant for State Representative Mike Jacobs in his 2006, 2008 and 2010 reelection campaigns.

Rehm is a graduate of Emory University’s Department of Political Science, where he studied under Dr. Merle Black, and a veteran of 20 years of political campaigns. He also wrote for PeachPundit.com, a blog about Georgia politics. Todd’s writing has appeared in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gainesville (GA) Times, Macon Telegraph, Marietta Daily Journal, and other local periodicals. Todd has been involved in the Georgia Republican Party and Georgia politics since 1991, when he interned at the state party, and worked on his first campaign that year. Since then, he has helped many candidates in more than 100 elections for public office.
