There will not be a special runoff election for Baker County Sheriff.
The Georgia Supreme Court has unanimously reversed a Superior Court decision that threw out a runoff election won by Sheriff Dana Meade last year.
The ruling means Meade will serve a four-year term for Sheriff that begin in January of this year.
Meade defeated Tim Williamson by 39 votes in the runoff election last August.
