This little brindle lady is Kior! She was surrendered to the shelter on 2/11 because her person had been living in a motel and had to move and sadly, Kior couldn’t go along. Kior is super sweet and loving. She is used to wearing and being walked on a harness so she’s not keen on a leash and collar. She’s not used to wearing something around her neck. Kior does know how to sit when asked and her previous owner did say that she is house trained and good with kids! Great information to know! Kior is approximately 2 years old and she weighs 33 lbs. This adorable little lady is named Bria! She was found lost and scared, and brought into the shelter for care on 2/7. She’s now spayed and vaccinated, will be microchipped upon adoption, and ready to go home with her forever family! It turns out Bria is very treat-motivated and smart, so will be very easy to train with positive reinforcement. Since she’s just about 12 weeks old, she’ll need someone experienced in puppy care, and all of the time, patience, and love that goes into it. She was more than likely separated from her mother and littermates too soon, as well, so needs special attention paid to her social development (training and socialization classes are very important) so that she can grow up to be brave and confident. Oh my heart! This lovable teddy bear is named Matt. He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/10/23 but his family has not come forward to reclaim him. Matt is approximately 3 years old and weighs 67 lbs. He is described as sweet, loving, playful and curious. He knows how to sit and loves to play with his toys. Please consider this lovable boy. Introducing this exquisite golden beauty named Ava! Ava landed at the shelter through no fault of her own along with her best friend (possibly brother) Marley on 2/15. Their former owner could no longer afford to take care of them. Ava is extremely sweet and pretty calm despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. It is reported that she is great with kids and house broken. Ava is very well behaved. We are not certain how she is with cats.
