Sandy Springs picks civic center architect – Atlanta Business Chronicle

The architect that designed the World of Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta and the Arena at Gwinnett Center has been selected to design a planned civic center in Sandy Springs.

Rosser International Inc. will work with Johnson Consulting, the real estate and hospitality consultant chosen to help the city determine best uses for the center’s performing arts and meeting spaces.

“These two firms were chosen for their creativity and extensive experience, including a track record of committing to community engagement, which is critical as we develop the city center,” Sandy Springs City Manager John McDonough said.

The civic center will be a key component of a proposed remake of downtown Sandy Springs.
