WARNER ROBINS — Councilman Mike Daley, who is running for re-election to his Post 1 seat, failed to disclose three properties on his personal financial disclosure form, which is required of candidates.
After reviewing all of his properties and forms with The Telegraph Wednesday, Daley submitted an amendment to the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission that lists the three properties and another that may have been required.
Jodi Daley, the councilman’s wife who also handles his state filings, said her husband buys and sells properties frequently, and the missing properties were an oversight.
“They were apparently inadvertently missed,” she said.
Mike Daley is a partner in DayBuz Enterprises LLC, which owns several rental properties. According to the Houston County tax assessor’s website, the company currently owns 18 properties. Daley personally owns another two properties.
But his personal financial disclosure form that was filed in July and covers the 2012 calendar year only lists 12 properties, including one in Bibb County. The Daleys admitted three properties were mistakenly excluded and explained the rest of the difference.
