The office of Georgia’s Attorney General has concluded their review of the case file involving the investigation into State Senator Josh McKoon, local political consultant Frank Myers and members of the Muscogee County School Board.
In a letter sent this week to the director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Senior Assistant Attorney General says that he agrees that this case cannot be prosecuted. The letter goes on to say that the element of solicitation is not present.
McKoon and Myers were accused of over-stepping legal boundaries trying to influence the board to replace current legal counsel The Hatcher, Stubbs Law firm.
