The Washington Post’s electoral model favors Republican Rick W. Allen in GA-12 over incumbent Democrat John Barrow by 59-41 probability of winning in November.
Three factors are worth noting, however. First, Barrow has raised nearly twice as much money as Allen. Second, Barrow has been endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which has deep pockets and a willingness to spend. Third, Barrow has more political lives than a cat, and isn’t due to run out any time soon.
