Nova is a 3 year old Hound mix who is spirited, energetic, and loving! Nova has lots of energy and needs a home where she can exercise, preferably with a fenced in back yard. Nova loves people and is very affectionate. Nova is extremely smart and needs to find a home that will work with her to get her trained to fit their needs. She is an athletic girl and would love to be able to go on long walks and enjoy the outdoors! Nova is a natural born runner and in time would probably be great for an active owner who enjoys hiking or running marathons! Nova is heartworm positive, and will require treatment. This is included in her adoption fee. If she is adopted before she receives her treatment, the staff will schedule a date for her adopters to bring her back for it.

Post is a 9 month old Lab mix who came to us with his five other siblings. Two of them have gone on to become Working K9s, and now the other four are available for adoption! Post is the largest of the four pups and seems to be the more alpha of the litter. Post loves affection and enjoys head scratches the most! You can see an example of that in the photo above. He loves to give hugs but needs some work learning not to jump up whenever he feels like it. Post is a very sweet boy who is just a big ole goofball! He needs to find a family who will understand that he is still a puppy and will need some training.

Nas is a 9 month old Lab mix who came to us with his five other siblings. Two of them have gone on to become Working K9s, and now the other four are available for adoption! Nas has been the more laid-back of the three males and he is also the smallest male in the group. He has a handsome, longer black coat that adds to just how truly gorgeous he is. All four of the pups will need some work in their new homes when it comes to basic training, but they are all so smart! We believe they will catch on quickly with any training they are introduced to. Nas has a really sweet disposition and has a tendency to be bullied by his bigger siblings, so we believe he would have a more submissive personality than the others.
I’m appalled that they didn’t mention Little Nas X was found on an Old Town Road.
