Buddy Carter Distances Himself From Bob Johnson’s “Wacky Comments”

In a statement issued Wednesday by candidate for Congress Bob Johnson, Johnson tries to dodge responsibility and shift blame to his campaign opponents for his own nationally-condemned extremist comments endorsing a terrorist attack against Americans.”

“Bob Johnson’s statement that he’d rather have another terrorist attack was extremely offensive and downright wacky, and he doesn’t get to blame others for what he said, especially when he followed it with ‘truly I would’ to emphasize his point,” said State Senator Buddy Carter. “He still doesn’t get it, and I refuse to allow him to blame me and the other candidates and the audience for his extreme remarks. He’s trying to condemn us for condemning him as he tries to spin his way out of his mess. He should be embarrassed.”
