This dog needs a ride from the Barrow County Animal Shelter toward Florida. Her ultimate destination is an adoptive home in Ocala, Florida, but her new owner can meet halfway.
A quick look at the map tells me halfway will be somewhere along I-75 between Cordele and Valdosta. Email me directly if you can help get her to her new home. The adopter is off work on Friday and Saturday, so those are the best days to transport. If a $100 donation toward gas money would help make this happen, that can be arranged.
This is 38411, a friendly former pet, and likely Boxer mix who is now at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter after his owners moved away and left him on the front porch of his old house.
One of the shelter volunteers spent 45 minutes with him and said he’s very sweet. He desperately needs a new foster or adoptive home by Saturday or he’ll be euthanized.
