Kingston Campaign Announces North Georgia Endorsements
Thirty-nine elected officials back Kingston’s bid for Senate

Gainesville, GA – Jack Kingston’s campaign for U.S. Senate today released the names of thirty-nine North Georgia elected officials who have endorsed his candidacy.

The list includes state legislators, sheriffs, county commisioners, and municipal officials.

Among them, State Senator Jeff Mullis (R-Chickamauga) chose to back Kingston because of his ability to build consensus while staying true to his priniciples.

“Having served in the Georgia General Assembly for several terms I know the type of person it takes to be successful in a legislative body,” Mullis said. “We need someone who has the ability to build consensus but hold firm on conservative principles. Jack Kingston is that person in this race and I wholeheartedly endorse his candidacy.”

Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston said he picked Kingston because he can overcome partisan gridlock.

“Georgia needs someone in the U.S. Senate who knows how to get things done, get past the partisan bickering, and deliver results,” said Ralston. “Jack Kingston has proven he knows how to get things done during in the House. I know he will be able to deliver for all Georgians as our next U.S. Senator.”

Kingston’s leadership on the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project as well as his involvement with military and agricultural interests led Habersham County Commission Chairman Chad Henderson to endorse Kingston’s candidacy.

“Jack Kingston has been the leader in congress on one of the most important economic development projects in Georgia history, the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project,” Henderson said. “In addition, he is a recognized leader on military and agricultural issues. Georgians need Jack Kingston in the Senate to make sure we have a strong and proven individual to fight for our interests.”
