LOGANVILLE — Former Loganville Mayor Ray Nunley had a vision for the city and for a town green.
On Wednesday, that vision came to fruition as the city officially dedicated the Ray Nunley Pavilion as a part of the town green. And just in time for the Fourth of July festivities.
Nunley passed away April 16 after battling lung cancer.
“Ray wanted to kick off his vision around the July 4th festivities,” said acting Mayor Mark Kiddoo. “It got to be a little bit of a challenge because of the weather, but we got it done.”
