Adoptable Georgia dogs for June 21, 2013

A Georgia Republican Party State Committee member who shall remain nameless might want to consider heading to Milledgeville a little early to pick up China, this senior female Maltese who is available for adoption from Animal Rescue Foundation in Milledgeville, Ga.

The ARF Adoption Center is located at 711 S. Wilkinson St. in Milledgeville, Georgia and  is open from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. ARF is closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. Please contact the shelter for special closing dates during holiday weekends.

The adoption fee donation is $100 for a cat, kitten, puppy, or dog. The adoption fee for any animal that required special medical care, such as treatment for heartworms, may be higher, and will usually be noted in the description. For dogs and puppies, there is an addition $25 microchip fee.

Chomper is a 7-month old Golden Retriever mix who is available for adoption in Sandersville, Georgia, just a short drive from Milledgeville. She was abandoned on the side of the road in Feb 2013 at about 5 weeks old. I wandered under the garage of my current caregiver who took me in. I get along with the other dogs and cat just fine.
