The Historic Courthouse in Jefferson, GA, Jackson County
It has been pointed out to me that Jackson County has a new, grand courthouse, but I prefer the old Historic ones. I’ll get around to photographing the new one as well, some day, as the new Bartow County Courthouse, but they’re not my priorities right now.
My father, who lives in Jefferson was saying that the Buzzard should really be the town mascot and namesake of local sports teams, as they fill the air. So it’s fitting that we saw this one perched on top of the old Jackson County Courthouse yesterday.
