Georgia State Senator Hardie Davis D-Augusta) announced his intentions to run for the office of Mayor of Augusta-Richmond County in the 2014 Election.

[Last week], Sen. Hardie Davis officially announced his plans to run for Mayor of Augusta in the 2014 election. Sen. Davis began his service as an elected official in 2007 when he was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives. In 2010, Sen. Davis was elected to assume a vacated Georgia State Senate seat in a special election, where he currently serves.
