U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., was inducted into the Georgia Peanut Hall of Fame on Thursday, becoming just the fifth person to receive such an honor.

A portrait of Chambliss, unveiled at the 38th annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show on Thursday, will be displayed at the Georgia Peanut Commission’s headquarters in Tifton, the agency announced.
