The new Peach Regional Medical Center is scheduled to be completed in June. The facility is moving from Fort Valley to Byron on Highway 247 Connector.
Administrators want to celebrate the journey of the new hospital with a race.
The race will start Saturday at 7:30 am and runners will go from the old hospital to the new in a 12.5K race.
“We already, we already have over 150 people l signed up so we’re anticipating about 200 which would be wonderful,” said Ellen Terrell of the Peach Regional Medical Center.
