Richmond County: Advance Voting Increases Voter Turnout – WJBF-TV ABC 6 Augusta-Aiken News, Weather, Sports

Close to 3500 Richmond County voters have cast a ballot in the weeks leading up to Election Day as of Wednesday morning, according to the city.

Advance Voting is a growing trend which it more convenient for people to exercise their right to vote, Executive Director Lynn Bailey said.

“This is the second full election cycle that we’ve had Advance Voting,” Bailey said. “It’s a concept that’s slowly catching on. I think many Georgia voters like it.”
