Rep. Collins Delivers Northeast Georgia’s Rebuttal to President’s State of the Union
Collins: “[Obama’s] agencies are producing tens of thousands of pages dictating how we live our daily lives, preventing many from fulfilling their hopes and dreams. The President believes those are government’s to decide, and he’s determined to grow government power to limit our choices.”
At the State of the Union Address, I heard Barack Obama take credit several times for our country’s oil and gas boom, low fuel prices responsible for some of our recent economic gains. But the President, who refuses to approve the Keystone Pipeline, has obstructed and mocked our energy progress for years.
Despite the President’s stubborn clinging to his failed policies, conservatives in Congress have achieved real results. Please listen as I describe them in my rebuttal to the President’s speech, Georgia always on my mind.
