Georgia was one of seventeen states to reach a record high in exported goods in the first six months of 2013, according to an Aug. 8th press release by the U.S. Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration.
The state’s $18.5 billion in exported merchandise goods is a 4 percent increase over the same period in 2012, when $17.8 billion worth of goods were traded.
