Adoptable Dogs

Johnny and June are Coonhound siblings who are up-to-date on their vetting and doing great in foster homes, where they’re well-behaved inside and out. They’re available for adoption individually or as a pair from Catoosa Citizens for Animal Care, Ringgold, GA.

Toby is a one-year old male Schnauzer mix who is available for adoption from Catoosa Citizens for Animal Care in Ringgold, Ga.

Jimbo here, in a bad picture, looks just like a miniature version of Dolly, one of the GaPundit mascots. He looks like a big old Georgia Hound Dog, but he’s only about 30 pounds, and he loves playing with other dogs but ignores cats. Jimbo is available for adoption from Catoosa Citizens for Animal Care in Ringgold, Ga.

Help Stark

Stark, above, was found in a ditch by some good Samaritans who took him to the vet and are going to foster him at least through his upcoming treatments. He’s injured, malnourished and possibly was abused; his rear legs need x-rays and possible ongoing treatment.

The folks who stopped to help this guy are now looking at roughly $2500 in costs for his care. A personal friend of mine knows Stark’s new people and vouches for them and that the money will go to Stark’s care. That’s good enough for me.

Pooch Pundit

Sully first appeared in the August 7th Daily Dogs. He was in a home, but couldn’t stay because his people were getting divorced and neither could keep him. A reader rescued him and he’s now got a safe home. Apparently the idea of fostering him and finding him a new home lasted for about two hours.

I got to meet Sully this morning, and he was happy to have his photo taken in his new Dad’s pickup truck. Notice anything interesting about the truck?

I’m pretty sure these are the puppies featured in Tuesday’s Adoptable Georgia Dogs from Barrow County. Angels Among Us gave them their freedom ride and will be fostering them. If you’re looking for a way to help dogs and cats in need but your living circumstances won’t permit you to have a pet, Angels Among Us always needs people who can help transport them to/from shelters to foster home, for vet appointments, and for adoption days. What a fun way to help out.
