David Schwarz reports raising $130k in GA-1 Congressional campaign

Schwarz Exceeds Fund Raising Goals for Quarter
Reports Over $130,000 Raised in Six Weeks.
Over $100,000 Cash on Hand

Savannah – US Congressional candidate, David Schwarz released fundraising totals for the 2nd Quarter of 2013, the first that he has been a candidate. Schwarz reported almost $125,000 total raised with over $100,000 cash on hand, demonstrating a fundraising prowess and a frugality that matches his governmental philosophy. Schwarz had contributions from 180 donors ranging from $25 to $2600.

“I am so grateful to so many for this early support of our effort to bring Next Generation Conservative Leadership to Congress,” said Schwarz. “We must have a new direction in Washington and I am the only candidate with the experience of providing innovative, conservative solutions. That voters across the district agree that we need real, conservative change and that has shown up in the financial support we have received.”

“The fundraising environment for someone who has never run for office before is very difficult,” added strategist Bo Harmon. “You’ve got Kingston and other candidates for US Senate, Governor, Attorney General taking the first several bites at the apple for most of these donors. David has never run before, so he has little name awareness or established fund raising base that long time politicians may have. David set an ambitious goal of raising six figures in just six weeks and even in a very difficult political environment, he beat it easily.”
