This sweet boy is Monty – he is quite an usual looking mixed breed. From the neck up, he looks like a rottweiler. From the neck down, he looks like a basset hound. Does that make him a Bassetweiler? A Rotthound? Who knows? But what we can tell you is this guy has personality plus. He is fun and goofy and affectionate, everyone who meets him loves him. He has a lot of energy and needs an active home. He loves kids (but can play a little rough) and he is good with submissive dogs but he has never been around cats. Newt loves you already – and you’ve only just met through a picture! Newt is a highly trainable dog and already knows some basic commands. He is an active and incredibly smart boy who enjoys playing fetch and going for car rides. Newt would suit an active individual or family who wants an outgoing and friendly companion. He is a goofy bundle of enthusiasm, so adults and older children would probably be best. Newt gets along with other dogs. We are unsure about cats, but he does take an interest in chasing them. Little Bear is a 4-month old male wirehaired Terrier mix puppy who is available for adoption from the Humane Society of Terrell County in Dawson, GA.
This sweet puppy is Little Bear – a wired hair terrier mix around 4 months old (as of 8-12-2022). He was voluntarily surrender to animal control by his owners because they decided they did not have time for a puppy. Their loss will be someone else’s gain because LB is awesome! He is very friendly and affectionate and learns commands easily. He is already crate trained and at the perfect age to be adopted to a home with other pets and kids.
