The Albany Humane Society is holding a Valentine’s Day fundraiser, according to WALB.

“When you donate to our ‘Be My Valentine’s Day Fundraiser’ you help mend and heal the broken hearts and souls that come into Albany Humane each and every day,” said [Albany Humane Society Director Payton] Jarrell.

If you’re looking for a last-minute Valentine’s Day gift or just want to support the rescue as your Valentine you can do so by donating to the Albany Humane Society.

“So if you’re giving the gift as a Valentine’s Day to your loved one, you can actually input your email and then they will get an E-Valentines Day Card directly sent to them,” said Samantha Threadgill, Development Director for Albany Humane Society. “It’s for single people if you want to be the valentine of an animal instead of a human or for people who want to give a gift to your loved one.”

The good news is that Valentine’s love is lasting all week for the Albany Humane Society as the campaign will run until Sunday.

Willie is a 7-year old, 40-pound male Beagle mix who is available for adoption from the Albany Humane Society / Sally Wetherbee Adoption Center in Albany, GA.
