Lilith is a young female Labrador Retriever mix who is available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter in Marietta, GA.
This stunning chocolate lab mix is Lilith! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 12/11, and no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers just adore this little lady! She is best described as friendly, affectionate, curious, and playful! You can tell sweet Lilith is overwhelmed by the loud shelter environment. In her kennel she barks and is shy, but once you get her outside she is so very lovely! Lilith is trying to figure out toys, and we’re trying to show her she is safe to explore and play with them. She is a bit strong on leash and will benefit from someone kind and patient to work on a little training. Lilith is treat-motivated so she will probably pick up new things quickly! We think she may be house-trained because she keeps her kennel tidy and does her business right away outside. Being young and playful, Lilith will need an active family who will include her in all of life’s adventures! Lilith does know how to sit nicely when asked and she takes treats very gently.
Lilith is approximately 1 year old, and she weighs 55 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Lilith in run 874; her ID # is 652405.
Hello everybody!! Please meet this beautiful young lady named Ava. She is hoping to be with a loving family for Christmas this year! Ava is only 6 months old and she weighs approximately 33lbs. She is small at the moment but she will grow to be a medium sized pup and that is okay because great things come in small packages and have the sweetest hearts. Ava thought she had won the jackpot and found her forever home when she was adopted in October but she was brought to the shelter on 12/9 by her former owner because they claimed they couldn’t house train her properly and she barks when she is left ALL ALONE so the neighbors complained. Folks she is a PUPPY. She is and will look to you to guide her through the puppy stages into adult hood. She cannot do this all by herself. We, as humans, had to have some guidance. So what is the difference? Because she is a dog? You have got to have PATIENCE. She is super sweet and cute as a button. Those ears are so adorable! She is very playful and such a pretty girl. She is one smart cookie because she knows how to sit all by herself. She is eager to please you. She will be a great student to learn just about anything she needs to. Can you please help her find her way into a loving home and provide everything she needs and wants? This is the perfect time of year to make that happen. She is just a baby so she will someone who will be patient with her, train her PROPERLY, and NEVER GIVE UP ON HER FOR ANY REASON!!! She would make a perfect addition to an active family. Keep her stimulated so she doesn’t get bored. Make wonderful memories with this sweet princess. She is also great with kids!
Ava is current on vaccines, spayed and micro chipped. She will be tested for heart worms upon her adoption. She will be waiting for her Christmas angel in Run 333. Her ID is 652458.
