Adoptable Georgia Dogs for November 4, 2013

Dutch2 Dutch1

In honor of Ronald Reagan Day, we are featuring the only adoptable dog in Georgia we could find with a Reagan-esque name. Dutch is a male Dutch Shepherd puppy who is available for adoption from the DeKalb County Animal Shelter, where he is considered a “Classic,” meaning he’s been in the shelter a long time and can be adopted without a fee.

Edison Hound

Edison is a young, happy and loving Hound Dog mix who is on his last days at the Spalding County Animal Shelter and will be euthanized this week if he is not adopted.

Handy

Handy is scheduled to be euthanized at the Barrow County Animal Shelter on Wednesday unless a commitment is made for him by 4:30 PM Tuesday.

Hound and Pups

This rough-and-tough jail gang is a Mama Hound and her seven pups, who are incarcerated at the Barrow County Animal Shelter. They have more than $1000 pledged toward their care for a rescue that saves them, but no one has picked them up yet. Consider opening your home to a foster dog or even a foster family.
