Greg mentioned that the “leftist videographer” who recorded a recent BYRs meeting was moved to the point of admitting that at least a few of the evil Republicans appeared to have hearts.
Two friends of mine adopted new best friends at the Angels Among Us Adoption day at Town Brookhaven.
Jack F (above) is one of the Angels dogs who didn’t find a forever home this weekend, but he’ll be out again at their Adoption Days.
Angels Among Us typically has 400 dogs in foster homes, where they pay for all the veterinary care. Veterinary care runs $30,000 per month, and your online donation will help them save lives.
Fostering through Angels Among Us or another rescue group is a great way to help dogs if you’re able to have one, but can’t make the lifetime commitment.
The best reason to adopt from a rescue group is that you typically get to speak to the foster, who can tell you more about the dog’s behavior, likes and dislikes, and personality.
Apparently, today is National Dog Day, but don’t worry if you haven’t heard of it before, it was only made up in 2004. I forgot to get Dolly and Roxy a card. In celebration of their special day, they’ll spend all day napping on the couch, eat two healthy meals they didn’t have to pay for and go to the dog park several times. In other words, “Monday.”
