Adoptable (Official) Georgia Dogs for March 4, 2025

The Georgia Department of Agriculture released statistics on pet euthanasia in Georgia shelters, according to WTOC.

33,109 is the number of dogs and cats that were euthanized at Georgia animal control facilities in 2024.

For reference- in 2020, that number was 12,271.
