Perdue attacks Kingston over Senate campaign donor – Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

ATLANTA – Senate candidate David Perdue is criticizing his opponent in a GOP primary runoff for accepting campaign donations from people linked through two companies to a felon.

Perdue says the contributions show Jack Kingston is an out-of-touch insider.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://bit.ly/SH7jNA ) reported that Kingston took more than $80,000 in contributions from employees, family members, consultants and contractors connected to two companies. Both firms were tied to Khalid Satary, who served more than three years in prison for running a counterfeit CD operation in Atlanta. A Palestinian, Satary faces potential deportation.

Kingston said he was unaware of Satary’s past and would return the money.
