Kingston Announces South Georgia Leadership Committee
Sixty elected officials endorse Kingston’s bid for Senate

Sixty South Georgia elected officials today endorsed the candidacy of Jack Kingston for United States Senate.

The officials, ranging from state legislators to municipal officials, stressed Kingston’s ability to get things done while staying true to his Georgia values.

“In this field of strong candidates, I believe that Jack Kingston is the best choice to serve as Georgia’s next United States Senator,” said State Senator Dean Burke (R-Bainbridge).  “Jack Kingston has that unusual gift of being able to connect with all types of people, and will use his conservative South Georgia principles to help our great state continue on its path to becoming a world class economic powerhouse.”

State Representative Amy Carter (R-Valdosta) says she has seen Kingston’s ability to engage on a wide variety of issues first hand.

“Having been a constituent of Jack Kingston for many years, I have watched him engage in issues most important to South Georgia, including agriculture, military affairs, education, and economic development,” she said.  “Jack is an approachable leader who demands results, and I look forward to his continuation of service in the U.S. Senate.”

Dougherty County Commission Chairman Bodine Sinyard emphasized Kingston’s family values and familiarity with agriculture and military issues in his reasoning.

“Jack Kingston is a real person, a family man, that understands our folks and way of life in South Georgia,” he said.  “His strong knowledge and past help with both our Agriculture and Military Bases has had and will continue to have a major economic impact important to all Georgians.”
