In the final stretch of the Macon-Bibb mayoral race, candidates were out and about Sunday trying to capture every vote possible.

Whether waving from a street corner, canvassing a neighborhood or out at restaurants, most candidates said they planned to remain highly visible in the final hours of the campaign.

The election of the consolidated government’s first leaders is Tuesday.
