PERRY — Perry Mayor Jimmy Faircloth intends to seek a second term in November, he said Wednesday.
“We have been able to accomplish quite a bit in the past three-and-a-half years that I would like to continue,” Faircloth said. “It’s the same line, but it’s really true.”
Faircloth said he made the decision after clearing the possibility of another four-year term with his family and employer, Middle Georgia Technical College. He said the city has experienced some wins in the past few years, but more must be done.
“I won’t go so far as to say we’ve stabilized because we still have some issues,” he said.
