It has become undeniable that Barack Obama’s view of government is nearly the polar opposite of that of this nation’s founders.
Worse than the numbers is the inherent erosion of the work ethic and self-reliance that made this country great. And perhaps even worse than that is that government dependence prevents people from realizing their God-given potential; it strips people of the need to become their best selves.
The trifecta of Obama administration scandals that have erupted, primarily just in the days since the president’s “Go Government!” commencement speech, give lie to the false hope in government that he’s peddling. Anyone who doesn’t fear government tyranny, even after hearing the IRS targeted some groups for their political beliefs and the Department of Justice spied on the Associated Press, just isn’t paying attention.
The scandalized Obama administration has inadvertently proven our founders right and him wrong.
