Georgia Farm Team Stacked With Carters | At the Races

The president’s grandson, Democratic state Sen. Jason Carter, passed on the state’s open Senate seat this cycle, but has been mentioned as a potential congressional candidate down the line.

And the Republican primary in Georgia’s 1st District will be interesting, with two men who share the last name Carter in the mix

State Sen. Buddy Carter announced he was seeking the open seat, being vacated by longtime Republican Rep. Jack Kingston, followed by Darwin Carter, a businessman and former member of President Ronald Reagan’s administration.
