Third Congressional District Georgia Republican Party Straw Poll Results

I’m pleased to report that our 3rd District GAGOP Committee meeting and fundraiser was a huge success! We had an overflowing crowd packed into the Fayette County GOP headquarters! While that may have made for slow lines at the buffet line, it was a great problem to have. It showed the excitement for a great group of Republican candidates preparing for the May 20th primary and great success in the general election in November. We had hoped for around 100 people for our fundraising dinner, but turns out, nearly 200 people showed up. We had over 20 candidates show up to represent races from the US Senate seat to county commission seats.

I want to especially thank Scott Fabricius and the Fayette county GOP for allowing us to use their beautiful facility. I also want to thank our events committee for a wonderful job in pulling this event off, Denise Ogino, Vicki Temple, Carolyn Henderson, Katie Frost, Rodney Robinson and Linda Menk! Thanks to the support of the entire 3rd district, we were able to raise nearly double what our goal was.
