A Tuesday recount of votes in the race between Macon councilmen Henry Ficklin and Larry Schlesinger for the District 2 seat on the new Macon-Bibb County commission resulted in no change to the tally.
With results exactly the same as in the Oct. 15 runoff, Schlesinger maintained his 26-vote margin of victory out of 3,396 cast in the race to take his place in the consolidated government in January.
