Sue Lee

I am a native Roman completing my first term as a Rome City Commissioner representing Ward 2. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve all the people of this great city.

Wendy Davis

Wendy Davis qualified Monday for a seat on the Rome City Commission from Ward 2. This will be her first time as a candidate for public office, but Davis has a great deal of experience with the electoral process.

Faith Collins

I am a lifelong resident of Floyd County. I graduated from Pepperell High School and attended Floyd College.

Dale Swann

Mr. Swann and his late wife, Beth, raised two children in Rome. Their son, Jack, and his wife, Diana, have a daughter, Sophia Grace, while their daughter, Ginger, is the director of sports medicine at Berry College.

Chris Wilson

Mr. Wilson was appointed to the Rome City Schools Board of Education in 2007 and was elected to his post in 2009.

Cheryl Huffman

Ms. Huffman has served on the Rome City Schools Board of Education since 1997. She made her decision to run for the office after participating in the Leadership Rome program offered by the Chamber of Commerce.

Bruce JonesJones has been a citizen of Rome since 1995 and joined the Rome City Schools Board of Education in 2008.

Elaina BeemanElaina Beeman is a devoted wife to Rickey Beeman, and a loving mother to Malik (10th grade), Rachael (eighth grade), and Kelsey (sixth grade).

Richard DixonI grew up on a small diversified farm in South Georgia along with a brother and a sister. I am a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, the University of Georgia College of Agriculture, and the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Cave Spring City CouncilNicholas McLemoreI am 29, born in Floyd County and raised in the outskirts of Cave Spring until 2008 when my family and I moved inside the city limits. I am married to Elizabeth McLemore, teacher for Rome City Schools, and I have one son, Austin, age 4. I also have one child on the way.

Rodney Willingham

I am the pastor of The Empty Tomb church in Cave Spring and have worked at Redmond Regional Medical Center for the last 22 years in the heart cath lab.
