Rep. Rob Woodall Receives Guardian of Small Business Award

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business association, named U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall (GA-7) a Guardian of Small Business for his outstanding voting record on behalf of America’s small-business owners in the 113^th Congress.

“There is no scenario in which we have a thriving economy without a successful small business and entrepreneurial community,” said Woodall.  “Ensuring that these men and women have the environment needed to flourish is vital not only to their businesses, but to the customers and employees counting on them.  Jobs have never been created in Washington. They are created through the tireless efforts of business owners, and it’s a privilege to have the opportunity to be their voice in Washington.”

NFIB President and CEO Dan Danner praised Woodall stating, “The record shows that Rep. Woodall is a true champion of small business, supporting the votes that matter in the 113^th Congress.  This award reflects our members’ appreciation for supporting the NFIB pro-growth agenda for small business.”

Woodall continued by pointing to what he believes is confirmation that business-friendly policies are the best way to grow the economy.

“When you come from the two fastest growing counties in a state credited by Site Selection magazine as being the best place in the U.S. to do business, all you have to do is point to the results back home to make the argument for pro-growth business policies and free-market principles in Washington.  It isn’t rhetoric; it’s reality in the Seventh District.”

Woodall represents the Seventh Congressional District of Georgia, and serves as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee.
