I wanted to take a moment to give you a quick update on our campaign and what’s happening in Washington:

Georgia’s filing period closed on Friday of last week and I’m glad to announce that I officially filed for reelection to continue representing the people of Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District. I have been honored to serve as your Congressman and I pledge to continue to fight for lower taxes, limited government, and for the United States Constitution.

On the legislative front, last week President Obama unveiled his proposed 2-year spending plan. With a pricetag of $3.9 trillion, Obama’s budget calls for yet more taxes and bigger government, but fails to include funds for the Port of Savannah, a project that has wide bipartisan support in Georgia and is directly linked to thousands of jobs.

Upcoming Events:

This Saturday, March 15, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the 3rd District Republican Party will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Meet and Greet at the Fayette County Republican Party Headquarters, located at 174 North Glynn Street, Fayetteville, GA.
