MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The race for Macon-Bibb’s first mayor for the new consolidated government will be a battle between Macon’s current mayor and the former mayor.

Macon Mayor Robert Reichert and former Mayor C. Jack Ellis will compete in a runoff election for the new Macon – Bibb consolidated government.
