Oconee County in Top Tier for 2013 High School Graduation Rate – Schools – Oconee, GA Patch

The 2013 graduation rates at Oconee County’s two high schools were dramatically higher than the state average and the highest among area school districts.

Oconee’s combined rate was 90 percent, compared to the 2013 state rate of 71.5 percent, up from 69.7 in 2012,according a report released by the State Department of Education.

North Oconee High School had a 91.5 percent four-year graduation rate, while Oconee County High School had a 90.3 percent rate, according to state records.

Jefferson City Schools were at 89.6, Commerce City Schools were at 86.6, Madison at 78.1 percent and Barrow at 72.1. Clarke County was at 69.5.
