Within the last few minutes, Vernon Jones, former DeKalb County CEO, who ran in the 2008 Democratic Primary for United States Senate against Saxby Chambliss and lost the Primary Runoff to Jim Martin, posted a photo on Facebook from that campaign with a Vernon Jones for US Senate logo, with the comment “It’s in the air! Georgia is ready.”
