Unlike campaign contributions, the number of volunteers working for a particular congressional candidate isn’t something that must be accurately reported to the Federal Election Commission.
Nonetheless, Michelle Nunn, the week-old Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate and former volunteerism expert, has laid down a marker that’s at least somewhat quantifiable. She’s looking for a few good volunteers – 2,500 in fact, in less than two weeks.
