Lt. Governor Names CEC 2013 College and Career Academy of the year – The Newnan Times-Herald

Georgia Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle named the Coweta County School System’s Central Educational Center the 2013 College and Career Academy of the Year at his 2013 Business and Education Summit in Rincon, Ga.

The CEC was one of five finalists for this award. Other finalists included Effingham County, Golden Isles, Floyd County, and Athens-Clarke College and Career Academies.

This year is the first the award has been offered.
