One of Gwinnett’s longest serving judges will retire.
Gwinnett Superior Court Judge Michael Clark notified Gov. Nathan Deal Thursday that he will leave his post Feb. 28.
“It has been my distinct honor and privilege to serve as a Superior Court Judge for over 21 years with the finest bench in the state, the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit,” Clark said in his letter. “The relationships with my colleagues and the bar have made my experience even more rewarding and I will always cherish my service. I, however, have decided to pursue a new challenge and return to the practice of law.”
Clark plans to join the Suwanee firm of Oxendine and Sauls.
