ATLANTA – A marijuana advocacy group held a news conference at the state Capitol on Tuesday to deliver a letter to Gov. Nathan Deal encouraging him to support medical marijuana in Georgia.
The group says it wants marijuana legalized to treat seizures, pain and other extreme illnesses. They delivered petitions with 15,000 names to the governor.
