Georgia Adoptable Dogs for October 23, 2013

Quick, someone needs to go rescue this old guy immediately. Buster is a middle-aged Bassett Hound mix. He’s out of the Barrow County Animal Shelter and Alcovy Pet Rescue has him in boarding. He’s easy-going and gets along with others, though he’s heartworm positive and will need treatment and neutering.

Stormie is an adorable 5 month old, 35 pound baby girl Great Dane who is available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter. She is going to big a very big girl when she grows up, she has some big feet to grow into. She is a smart girl too. She already will sit and lay down when you tell her to and is gentle on a leash.

Someone spent some time training her but did not take time to come to the shelter to find her when she became lost on 10/04/2013. She has been spayed, is current on vaccines but will need boosters at the appropriate age. She will be micro-chipped when adopted. She is in run 55 and her ID# is 560418. Come meet her right away. She will make you laugh with her playfulness.

Golden Retrievers and Coonhounds are two of my favorite dog breeds, and Merita is a mix of the two. Merita is a 4 year old Golden Retriever/Hound mix who weighs 64 pounds and is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Shelter.

She is super sweet but also a little scared here at the noisy shelter. She is a very cute girl who is quiet and well mannered, she sits when told. She is up to date with shots and will be spayed, heartworm tested, and micro-chipped upon adoption. She is in cage 809 and her ID is 560438.
