GAGOP: Launches “Nunn on the Run” Website, Twitter & You Tube

The Georgia Republican Party is launching a new website today to showcase Michelle Nunn’s habit of skipping town to collect checks from liberal, out-of-state donors. On the new site, www.NunnOnTheRun.us, visitors can see a log of where Michelle Nunn has travelled, keep up with recent news on the Georgia Senate race, and even submit tips if they know where Nunn is running off to next.

“Georgians are fed up with Michelle Nunn’s elitist behavior,” said GAGOP Chairman John Padgett. “Instead of meeting with voters to discuss her solutions to America’s most pressing issues, Nunn is jet setting around the country to collect fat checks from some of the Obama Administration’s biggest supporters. This new website will serve as a simple reminder to Georgia voters that Michelle Nunn is not one of us. Her allegiance is to the Democratic Party and in Washington she would be nothing more than a rubber stamp for the same liberal agenda that’s bankrupting America.”

Since announcing her bid for the US Senate seat last year, Michelle Nunn has devoted a majority of her time to fundraising. Whether she’s taking checks in San Francisco from Susie Tompkins Buell, a staunch Keystone Pipeline opponent, or collecting big bucks in Chicago from Amy Rule, the wife of former White House Chief of Staff and current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Michelle Nunn has been at the beck-and-call of every wealthy liberal in the country.

At the same time, Nunn is ignoring Georgia voters by skipping public forums and refusing to release her schedule to the public. Michelle Nunn has been so reluctant to be seen in public, even her own party is speaking out. At the most recent debate she refused to attend, one of her Democratic opponents former State Senator Steen Miles said, “She has not attended the last seven or eight forums. I have never seen anything like it. She is running like it is a coronation. And that is unfair to the citizens of Georgia.”

In addition to the Nunn on the Run website, the GAGOP is also launching a Twitter account, @NunnOnTheRunGA, and a YouTube channel.
