ROCHELLE, Ga. AP — A group of residents in Rochelle, Ga. have filed a federal lawsuit accusing city officials of allowing raw sewage to discharge onto their properties.
Earthjustice attorney Alisa Coe says Rochelle’s black and white populations are divided by a set of railroad tracks — with most white residents living south of the tracks and most black residents living on the north side.
